C.L. Doucette, Inc. has been installing and servicing many types of fire suppression systems for over 88 years. C.L. Doucette has served Chicago and surrounding areas and has earned a reputation for quality work.
Our president, Edward F. Kadlec, P.E. has been involved in the Fire Sprinkler Industry for over 36 years. Edward is a member of The Society of Fire Protection Engineers and also a licensed Professional Engineer. Ed is a graduate from Purdue with a B.S. in Construction Engineering, he has also earned an M.S. in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering. Ed provides professional leadership and experience with our staff to get the job done right.
Our vice president, Michael J. Kadlec, has over 27 years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler Industry. Mike is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a B.S. degree in Engineering Technology and is a NICET Level IV, Senior Engineering Technician in water-based fire protection system lay-out.
Our sales staff has many years of experience meeting customer’s needs within local fire codes. We have a highly trained Engineering Department and they get your shop drawing prepared in a timely manner. Our superintendent runs and manages field operations and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the Fire Sprinkler Industry. Along with the sales, engineering, and field operations, our office is highly in versed in AIA billing, certified payroll, project waivers, and can meet your job requirements.
Our experience includes work in offices, warehouses, manufacturing, schools, churches, residential buildings, and new construction. Along with our construction work, we also perform fire pump tests, fire sprinkler system inspections, dry pipe valve trip testing, and pre-action valve testing. After testing, if there are any discrepancies, we can repair them on T & M or provide you with a quote. We also test sprinklers that are old or corroded and also test foam from tanks.
We are fully insured and bonded and can provide a detailed proposal and competitive pricing for all your Fire Protection needs.
